Components of AAID MaxiCourse Dallas:

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) MaxiCourse® DALLAS is a comprehensive, structured training program in implant dentistry, designed to provide general dentists and specialists with in-depth, hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in dental implantology. The AAID MaxiCourse® DALLAS consists of 300 hours of instruction over the course of 10 months. Here are the main components:

Didactic Lectures:

These cover fundamental and advanced topics in implant dentistry, including anatomy, patient assessment, treatment planning, surgical protocols, restorative aspects, and complications management. Topics also span related areas like bone grafting and sinus lifts.

Hands-On Training:

Participants engage in hands-on exercises and workshops, which often involve implant placement on models, pig jaws, and even cadaver dissections to gain practical, technical experience.

Live Patient Demonstrations:

Participants will have opportunities to observe or even perform implant surgeries under the supervision of experienced instructors. This part of the course is especially valuable for real-world experience and skill-building.

Case-Based Learning:

Real patient case studies are integrated into the curriculum to help participants develop strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills. Attendees are encouraged to present their own cases and receive feedback from mentors and peers.

Evidence-Based Learning:

The MaxiCourse emphasizes evidence-based practices, teaching participants how to evaluate the latest research and integrate proven techniques into their practice.

Mentorship and Networking:

Through close interactions with experienced implantologists, participants gain access to a network of professionals. This support system often extends beyond the program, helping participants with future cases and challenges.

Upon completion, participants are eligible to take the Associate Fellow exam through the AAID, an important step towards credentialing in implant dentistry. The MaxiCourse is highly regarded for its rigor and practical applicability, and it is recognized worldwide as one of the most thorough programs in implant education.
